Social-Emotional Learning and Wellbeing
This theme examines social-emotional skills, wellbeing, belonging, peer relations, compassion, burnout, and adolescent adjustment across school, family, and cultural contexts.
This theme brings together work on social-emotional learning, wellbeing, belonging, peer relations, compassion, life satisfaction, burnout, and adolescent adjustment. It asks which social and emotional capacities matter for learning and health, and how school, family, and cultural contexts support or constrain them.
Several publications bridge this theme with motivation, principal wellbeing, family socialization, digital life, and cross-cultural research.
