This newer theme examines how artificial intelligence, social media, e-learning, and internet use affect motivation, identity, learning, and support. It includes work on generative content for learning motivation, digital learning acceptance, and online social contexts.

The theme is emerging from intersections between educational technology, motivation science, and social-emotional development.
